NO VANILLA VISA G.C.S ACCEPTED BY SEPHORA PERIOD. they can't process them for some mystery reason. they don't care to fix it, find or why OR better yet, TELL THEIR PRECIOUS CUSTOMERS THAT PAY THEM & keep them in biz.
i just went thru the same thing on here & then some. come to find out the SEPHORA WEBSITES DOES NOT ACCEPT VANILLA VISA GIFT CARDS. from "customer service", i was told this, after calling & spending a good 30 plus minutes entering my cards over & over again, as a gift card, as a VISA, checking my GC balances online, etc. see: beating my head against a wall for nothing!! then i called sephora & was told.
isn't that sweet? they SO care about us!
now i see on here that for YEARS people have been posting re this issue.
as i told the customer service oh so caring person, that it would b NICE if this were posted on the site somewhere, to save ur customers time, stress & nightmares. "oh i'll let them know" or some equally asinine response said in lukewarm voice. bless their little hears. for YRS this has been going on. sephorar really LOVES their customers! oops, i mean their customer's $$. yep, that's right. cheers :)
